Marrakech is drawn low, the way the city is, with the minaret the only tall thing in it. A domed mosque, the gate, a domed pavilion and a long arcaded hall sit along the line at roof height.
What is in the drawing
A domed mosque opens the left with a small minaret at its side and an arched doorway beneath. A low wall runs from it. The great minaret rises at the centre, a square shaft with a small lantern on top. A gate stands beside it, its opening drawn as a keyhole arch. A low pavilion with a dome follows. A long arcaded hall closes the right, its arches scalloped along the bottom edge.

Wrapped by ceramic, since 2.451 to 1 is wider than the print band, which puts the minaret front and centre with the mosque and the hall meeting at the handle. Ink 0.090, evenly spread. The keyhole arch is the smallest detail and it is clear from 18 by 12.
